During my December 2018 holiday I visited the pop up store organised by Louis Vuitton at Siam Paragon. The pop up store showcased the Louis Vuitton home decoration objects created by Objets Nomades designer. Its Objets Nomades collection was first launched at Palazzo Bocconi in Milan, last April 2018 (us.louisvuitton.com, 2018). It’s just a small pop-up store where an exclusive preview of the first Louis Vuitton Les Petits Nomades collection was presented.

A creative and elegant of more than six decor objects was placed in a small exhibit space with a tropical like theme. There’re 2-3 staffs assisted me and explained about the exhibition and the objects that they were showcased. Most of the decor was really uniquely designed and can be use in so many ways.

The one that I interested is Lounge chair by Marcel Wanders. Marcel Wanders created a portable oasis of relaxation. What looks like a travel bag is actually a nested set of three leather-lined carbon fibre modules plus a cylindrical cushion. Held together by leather belts, they form an ultra-comfortable lounger. The three individual modules fit into each other like a puzzle, yet when laid out create a generous and ultra comfortable lounger (us.louisvuitton.com, 2018). It captured my attention since the design of the lounge chair was distinctive with red colour yet useful. It also foldable which you can easily take it anywhere.

Most of the Objets Nomades collection was all made by LV leather, which you can ensure that the furniture is enduring. I find that most of LV decor collection is creatively design by world-wide creative designers. Its not only looks cool and modern but with twist, which is also useful. I really hope to purchase one of their furniture to decorate my room once I be able to save up lots of money.
