Raffles Divergence @ Funan

Due to the invitation from my Raffles friends, I attended the fashion event called “Divergence”.

It’s a Fashion Tea Soiree Organized by Raffles College of Higher Education Singapore students. Occurred on 3 September 2018 at Funan Showsuite. The event had been pretty relaxed since it’s just an exhibition to showcase Fashion Design student’s works. So the guests are be able to walk around and took some photos of garments and get some drinks. They provided light food such as cookies, donuts, sandwiches, and drinks. However, it still very fulfilled me XD.

The garments from Fashion Designs student are very nice and there’re a few garments that I loved!. Which you can see from above pictures. Pink is my favourite colour and I love how they manipulated the fabrics contrasting with hologram fabrics. The off shoulder shirt with shorts (on the left) is something I would wear! So these collection is my favourite so far. The rest on the right picture are also my favourite. I love how they played with colours and creatively created fabrics manipulated on garments.

I met many juniors and senior friends, and we had great time there. We mostly took photos at backdrops, and at the front door of the event. What I like about the show is that everyone be able to chitchat and listened to the live music. I sit at the ladder seat and listened to the singer with my friends. The singer was very good and listened to him was very pleased to my ears.

The time went really fast and the show ended by 9PM. It’s been a great night for me since I took a lot of pictures with my classmate and lecturers. and thanks to my junior friends who organised this event for a good time and great food :).
