Popsical at Funan Show Suite

I volunteer for a Popsicle Event organised by Digital Fashion Week at Funan Show Suite. This event celebrates the launch of Popsical, the new streaming karaoke online website where they offer free trial for 30 days and monthly and yearly subscription for all the karaoke enthusiast. They also offered the karaoke equipment and be able to ship it to your home.

At the event, I assisted to handle guests if they want any help about direction, take photos or answered enquiries. Since it’s quite small event that have only few invited guests, so I wouldn’t do much at the event. However, I got chance to explore the activities they organised at the event such as create water colour on canvas, where I can use it as decoration on the wall, took photos on the beautifully decorated room with the interesting songs lyrics on mirrors.

More than that, we have chance to use free photo booth where the photo results is in the form of GIFs. Me and classmate had so much fun at the event, we even get free ice cream where they give it out for free, later at night we be able to enjoy the singing performance from VIP invited guest ; Brenda Tan. What I learned from this volunteer is how DFW organise their event, and how do they create the joyful ambience by launching an interesting activities for guest to not get bored. Which all the activities matching with the brand itself. Most importantly, this event would widen my experience in terms of event organisation.
