Knowing that I'm finally in my last year of BA International Fashion Business, give me so much happiness, relieve, and encouragement. Since I have been through many tough times during past 2 years of my Advanced Diploma, I'm very proud of myself and grateful that I be able to get across those difficulty gracefully with the support from my family in Thailand and friends. Being a senior give you a pride but also an anxiety, I believe that many of those people in their senior year might have many doubts and questions like, "What will I do after I graduate?" "What kind of jobs I should pursue?"And more. From this problems, I think it's better to list down and planning on what I want to do in my future with the question that I have been asked during Personal Development class. "What is my short term goal after graduation?"

What is my short term goal after graduation?

I definitely go back to Thailand, since it's where all my family living, I surely need to spend time with my family more after 3 years of living in Singapore. I might spend about 2 to 3 months to rest and explore myself during I stay in Thailand on what I actually wants to do, find my real passion and see whether I want to continue directly to MA study in Fashion Marketing or need time to explore myself during I'm working in fashion industry for a while.

However, my priority plan is to spend time meeting more friends & people where you can discuss about my future career. Many of my friends are studying in Fashion Design and Graphic Design, so it would be good if you spend time with friends that have the same passion in terms of fashion and arts. Me & My friends used to discuss about working together since she expertise in Fashion Design and I studied in Fashion Marketing, it would be good if we can actually work together after graduate. During exploring myself I will also help out with my family business for a while and then I might directly go for MA in Marketing or Business either in Thailand or Singapore.

However, my passion is not only for fashion but also for Graphic Design - create fantastic logo / page layout / pattern by using illustration. It would be good if I can learn and develop my illustration skills by taking short course or try to apply for a part time job that related with graphic design. It would help me to know what is actually my passion and what to do in the future rather than just work in Fashion Marketing fields.

After my MA I will apply for a jobs that relating to Fashion Marketing/ Retailing/ Merchandising. As to gain experiences as an employee for a while. After that and I'll start to build my own business which I plan to have a multi-labels lifestyle store. A multi-labels store will features many kinds of products from apparel, swim wears, beauty products, accessories, stationary, to furnitures. All the products will be selected based from my own tastes & style. The reasons why I plan to do multi-labels lifestyle store is because I want to have the store that gathered all the things that customers needs. Like a one stop shopping destination. They don't need to wasting time find it anywhere else.

I hope that all of the plan I wrote down above would become true & I achieve it successfully. Wrote it down helps to calm my anxiety down, as at least I know what I want and achieve in the future. I used to be a person who doesn't have much confidence in myself, when it comes to what I actually wants to do, and if someone ever told me that I can't do it or discourage me I'd felt terribly discourage and didn't do it in the end. But the more I grow up the more I gain confidence, and the more I learn that whatever you want in life you just need to have faith, confidence, and just do it. Don't worry if you will fail or not at least you learn, and Most importantly, you don't need anyone permission to follow your passion. :)
